The beginning of class prepares the body to access deeper into our muscles through poses that we hold for longer durations. The class ends with 10-15 minutes of guided relaxation. This class is suitable for many levels because you can individualize your practice and bring more or less intensity to each pose as it suits you. Restorative Yoga Rest and renewal is essential for living well. This class offers space to deeply relax and counter the stress and business of our modern lives. Using props like bolsters, blankets, and the wall, we use gentle, long-held yoga poses and breathing exercises to practice the art of being still in body and mind. Power Vinyasa Yoga is a high intensity class that will give you a new way to get in your resistance work. Yoga makes a perfect companion for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Yoga can help you develop better a breathing technique while it improves your balance, flexibility, core strength, and endurance. Yoga Nidra is yogic sleep. You are guided through a relaxation technique starting with body awareness, and methodically working through sensation and imagery. The practice is excellent for those who are in need of deep relaxation and rest, as it is said to be as lasting as 3-4 hours of sleep. Aside from relaxation, the practice can eventually lead to deep inner work on a subconscious level of healing and wellness. |
